E-Bike Rentals in Vermont's Upper Valley

Vermont Bike & Brew rents pedal-assist e-bikes from Thetford, VT, just 15 minutes north of Hanover, NH. Rentals run April through November, from a half day up to 7 days, starting at $99 per day with a discount for 6 or more riders. Our E-Bikes Are Built for This

Not all e-bikes are created equal, and the ones in our rental fleet are the real deal. We chose these bikes for our fleet because they handle hilly, dirt road rides with style and grace.

Our 2026 rental fleet features two models from Gazelle, one of the world’s most respected e-bike brands:

Gazelle Ultimate C8 & Gazelle Ultimate C380
These are smooth, versatile bikes built for comfort and confidence. The step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting effortless, and the upright riding position keeps you relaxed and present. An internally geared hub with a belt drive means easy, reliable shifting; zero chance of dropping your chain. Powered by a Bosch motor and wielding a 500Wh battery, this bike helps get you up every hill and back home with energy to spare.

Both bikes are:

Pedal-assisted (no throttle) for a natural, intuitive feel
Equipped with front and rear lights, a rear rack, and a kickstand
Available in Small, Medium, and Large frames

Important Details

Website only schedules rentals up to 3 days, to schedule longer e-bike rentals contact us directly.
All bike rentals require a reservation.
All bike rentals include a helmet, bike lock, cell-phone mount, water bottle cage, and front/rear lights. Multi-day bike rentals come with a charger.
We highly recommend adding on a waterproof pannier (bike bag) for snacks and layers.
Pricing is based on starting your ride from Vermont Bike & Brew.
Delivery (includes bike delivery and pickup) within 40 minutes of Vermont Bike & Brew is typically $250 and can be selected at checkout. Please call for deliveries more than 40 min from our shop.
You may only transport the E-Bikes yourself if you have a pickup truck or a hitch-mounted, tray-style bike rack rated for E-Bikes. We do not permit customers to transport E-Bikes inside their personal vehicle.
Riders must be at least 14 years old. Riders under 18 must be with a legal adult. Trailer rentals available for kids under 60lbs

Cancellation Policy

Standard Cancellation Policy (includes trip protection)

Small Reservations: 100% Refund if cancelled 48 Hours prior to reservation
Large Reservations: 75% Refund if cancelled 48 Hours prior to reservation
Weather Cancellation: 100% Refund

Without Trip Protection (opted out at checkout)

Small Reservations: 100% Refund if cancelled 14 Days prior to reservation
Large Reservations: 75% Refund if cancelled 14 Days prior to reservation
Weather Cancellation: 100% Credit

Details:

For large reservations (8+bikes), 25% of the total booking amount is non-refundable. This fee is waived if your reservation is cancelled due to weather.
Weather Policy: When necessary, Vermont Bike & Brew will make weather related cancellations based on local weather on the morning of your reservation. We may shift your reservation by up to 2 hours to keep you safe and dry!
Trip protection cost is non-refundable, even in the event of a weather cancellation. Trip Protection may only be purchased at time of initial booking.
