Bent Hill Brewery Self Guided E-Bike Tour

E-Biking The Upper Connecticut River Valley

Bike Tour to Bent Hill Brewery

A one-of-a-kind Vermont ride with unforgettable views

A classic small-town adventure, and a creative, small-batch beer waiting at the finish,

The Bent Hill E-Bike Tour is a self-guided, 19-mile ride through the hills of Braintree, VT, finishing at Bent Hill Brewery. It takes about 4 hours, it’s rated moderate to difficult, and it starts at $149 per person with a 4-rider minimum. Pedal-assist e-bikes from Vermont Bike & Brew make the climbs manageable, so you can focus on the views and the small-batch beer waiting at the finish.

Tour Overview

Tucked away high in the hills of Braintree, Vermont, Bent Hill Brewery sets the stage for a ride like no other. With its sweeping views, creative food menu, and locally famous small-batch beers, it’s the perfect place to kick off — and celebrate — your day’s adventure.

From the brewery, you’ll feel the instant benefit of your e-bike as you climb Bent Hill Road, a steep ascent right out of the gate. Thanks to pedal-assist, you’ll conquer the climb with a smile and be rewarded immediately: the next two miles roll gently along a ridge with breathtaking panoramic views of Vermont’s hills and valleys stretching to the horizon.

After soaking in the sights, enjoy a winding, scenic descent into the White River Valley as you make your way toward the charming town of Randolph.

Your first stop: Poulin & Daughters Family Farm. Treat yourself to a true Vermont classic — a maple creemee — and visit the friendly herd of 70+ cows that call the farm home. This stop captures everything special about rural Vermont: local flavors, honest smiles, wide-open skies, and cows!

Next, cross a picturesque pedestrian bridge over the White River and cruise into downtown Randolph. Here, you’ll visit Chef’s Market, tucked inside the historic Randolph Railroad Depot. It’s the perfect place to grab a sandwich, fill your pack with local goodies, and relax at sunny picnic tables outside the market.

Re-energized, you’ll head back onto Vermont’s quiet gravel roads. The return ride includes some rewarding climbs — about 800 feet of elevation — before dropping back into the White River Valley. One final climb of 400 feet brings you triumphantly back to Bent Hill Brewery, where you can toast your adventure with a cold pint, stunning views, and a well-earned meal from their refreshing and uniquely meatless food menu.

“An excellent way to explore Vermont’s beautiful back roads and a great way to spend a day! The bikes are comfortable and very steady, and the pedal assist makes climbing hills and putting down big miles easy where it might have been impossible before. You can really get to some awesome places that would have been out of reach otherwise. Jonas is charming, knowledgable and the best person to rent E-Bikes from anywhere in the Upper Valley!“
