The Upper Pass tour was delightful! The route is laid out perfectly, with challenging but doable hills (go e-bikes!) in the beginning, stops in the middle for food, drinks and Vermont farm products, then a beautiful, leisurely ride back down to South Royalton. Jonas was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

The tour was great! Jonas and Sean were so responsive and helpful leading up to and on the day of the tour. We had the best experience! The staff is amazing- helped me to book a tour to match what we were looking for! The gentleman that delivered the bikes was fantastic! He took his time explaining the bikes and made frequent stops along our route to make sure we were ok and gave his cell number if at any time we had enough. That meant a lot! A true professional who was courteous and kind. Definitely book with this company!

We had a great e-bike trip today. Jonas was very helpful with setting everything up before the ride. During the ride, Sean was excellent with teaching us about the bikes and provided great support. He waited for us at the farm where we took a break and quickly replaced a broken phone holder so we could continue our ride without any problems.
Thank you to both Jonas and Sean for making the trip experience easy and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Vermont Bike & Brew!

Super nice and helpful! I was on an independent ride on my own bike when my chain got stuck. Jonas heard about my predicament, hopped into his truck and drove out to help me- even though I had not rented through his company! He even got hand cleaner out of his truck so I could clean my greasy grimy hands. He turned what could have been a misadventure into a really sweet experience.

We had the most delightful day touring on beautiful E bikes, just the day before yesterday with Jonas as our best provider of services. He was so kind, patient, and took all the time that we needed to get us set up for our beautiful four hour tour of the back roads in Vermont. We actually did end up touring part of New Hampshire and he set us up with some lovely rides on GPS. The equipment was perfect and his communication was great. We would highly recommend this service to anybody looking to rent bikes in the upper valley. We had a lovely day.! !!

We did the Jasper Murdoch ride (long) And we had an amazing time. Jonah was awesome getting us set up with the bikes and the app and even gave us a couple of secret spots to go shoot some photography. I would highly recommend using this company if you want a beautiful and fun adventure in Vermont

We live down the road and have always enjoyed seeing e-bikes coming and going from Bike & Brew. We recently had family visiting from out of town and it was at the perfect opportunity to rent e-bikes. Jonas was so welcoming, quickly got to know our group and sent us off on a lovely tour of Thetford. Highly recommend as an activity when hosting visitors from out of town.

If I could give a ten star review I would! We did the Upper Pass tour and it was fantastic! The scenery was gorgeous, the equipment was top notch, instructions from Sean were detailed and spot on, and communications were very prompt. The route was safe and thoughtfully planned out. Our group was thrilled with the tour! This activity should be a must do on your list.

Great experience!!! The owner (Jonas) was really easy to work with and provided us with a great bike route that exceeded expectations in terms of scenery and options to visit local farm stands and in town businesses. On the ride we enjoyed the King Arthur bakery and afterwards we hit the brewery at the Norwich Inn... yummy. Rode 26 miles and am over 65 and can attest that the bikes and their multiple assist options made it so much easier.

We can't say enough about Jonas going out of his way to give us a great experience and helping us adjust to the e-bikes. We chose the Farm Stand Tour and it was perfect. The E-Bikes were easy to ride and even the steepest hills were very manageable on them. We are in our 60's and not in excellent shape, so don't be afraid to try these out even if you haven't been on a bike in a long time. VT drivers are very conscientious and we felt very safe everywhere on the Farm stand route. The tour was worth every penny and we're looking forward to the next time we are in VT.

My family decided to do a 16 person bike tour as part of a family reunion. We chose to hit different farm stands during our beautiful ride through rural VT. The bikes were incredible. They functioned perfectly and let’s just say it will be hard to return to my non-electric bike. The route was easy to follow using the GPS app. Jonas was an incredible guide. He clearly explained all the functionalities of the bikes and did everything to make sure we had a seamless ride. He even made a special trip to pick up a family member who was too tired to make it up the last hill. I can’t recommend VT Bike & Brew enough. I will definitely be taking another one of their tours in the future. Thank Jonas and the VT Bike & Brew team!

My wife and I were doing a New England road trip and decided on the spur of the moment to do a bike tour. We did a search on the internet and discovered Vermont Bike and Brew. Jonas took excellent care of us. The ebikes were very nice and the Farmstand tour was a perfect ride. Beautiful scenery, top notch e-bikes and excellent customer service. We had so much fun doing a half-day rental with Jonas’ e-bikes and burley trailers. We were able to explore 20 miles of beautiful roads (some dirt some paved) along the CT River, snack at Cedar Circle farm stand, and ice cream at Red Clover. We are local, but have always wanted to try e-bikes with our young kids. Jonas was fabulous. Super helpful getting us all 3 Burley trailers, making sure all kids were happy and comfy, and helping us get acquainted with the bikes. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to spend several joyful hours exploring the area outdoors.

I truly can't add any more than what has already been expressed, except to say all reviews are spot on! Jonas (owner) is VERY helpful as well as made sure we had "command" of the bike features before sending us on our way. Bikes are in excellent condition, helmets are comfortable, easy to adjust. I like that these bikes are pedal assist. And when it comes to the hills you can feel it kick in (thankfully!). The bikes handled the dirt roads beautifully and the route we took had minimal car traffic. The few cars we encountered gave us wide berth, for the most part. We had a picture perfect day!

This experience went so well I want to do it again and bring friends! Jonas is so kind and knowledgeable. He let me try different bikes to see which one I wanted to take on a longer ride. It was a smooth deal! Riding the C380 was extremely comfortable and powerful. The countryside is gorgeous, and sharing the road with traffic felt very safe. I chose a route which included an organic farm stand, so I could stop for a nice snack break, and learn all about their educational opportunities as well.
I highly recommend Bike and Brew for a great biking adventure!
To top off the great care that Jonas gives, the showers were relentless that day, and Jonas came out to pick me up on a hunch that I could use it toward the end of the ride. The cell service wasn't working well at the time. Thank you very much Jonas!!!!

We had a great ride on the first truly warm spring day of the season. Jonas was extremely helpful with route suggestions and explaining how to operate the bikes. We logged about 40 miles over the course of 2.5 hours including a refreshment stop at Dan and Whit’s in Norwich. The terrain was a perfect balance of hills and flats, and we only saw a handful of cars along the way! Thanks, Jonas!

This was a wonderful experience. The route was beautiful and the stops on the route were interesting little shops and farmstands. Lunch from King Arther’s was really delicious. Jonas is a great teacher and had us zipping around on the e-bikes in just a few minutes. With the bikes you can do anything, but exert enough energy and muscle power that you feel like you’ve done something! Highly recommended!!

The best bikes and the best way to discover the area and enjoy the view. The owner is very enthusiastic and has nice routes for cycling in the area. You get to places where you cannot go by car and the electric bicycle helps you get up. Can recommend everyone to rent a bike here!

I really enjoyed the Upper Pass Tour in mid-October! I was a solo traveler and I really appreciate Jonas helping me fit in with a couple other groups, because I'd hate to have missed this experience! The e-bikes were easy to ride and the app gave almost perfect instructions (I passed tour stops twice though, so pay attention). You may want to bring a backup battery for your phone so the app can run constantly while you ride. The scenery was wonderful, especially with the fall colors. The tour stops were great, especially lunch on the lake and the maple creamee! I highly recommend, it was such a fun day!

What a great experience! We booked the Upper Pass Tour for 11 of us for my little brother’s bachelor party and had an amazing time. The whole group, both experienced and relatively new bikers, had a ton of fun on the e-bikes and all the great stops along the tour.

Jonas was an excellent communicator and made the whole tour seamless and easy for me to plan and for the group to enjoy. He went above and beyond to make the event memorable for the groom-to-be as well.

I cannot recommend VT Bike & Brew enough. An excellent Vermont bachelor party idea, or just group activity, if you’re looking to experience the best of what VT has to offer!
